Salary
Salary is $1500 per month.

Mercy Hands will be responsible for obtaining and renewing the visa and all related expenses
Responsibilities
-
Contribute to the development of program implementation strategies, based on context, assessments and reporting provided;
-
Ensure that the programs’ teams achieve their set milestones in a timely manner;
-
Draft the work plan on regular bases, daily, weekly and / or monthly;
-
Regularly review and update Risks Mitigation Plan;
-
Actively and effectively communicate with donors’/ partners’ staff as well as Mercy Hands senior management;
-
Capacity building and management of the program’s team;
-
Responsible for coordinating with the teams and donors to ensure targets are being met in a timely manner and that all reporting is done to standard and submitted on time;

Responsible for management and implementation of the program according to strategy, proposal, plans and budgets agreed upon with donors;

Identify and address gaps in program implementation;
-
Work with the Director of finance Department and Administration and Finance Officer to manage and monitor programs’ budget; ensure timely submission of financial reports and documents;

Participate in coordination mechanisms and meetings with donors, clusters and governmental agencies;
-
Communicate to donors Mercy Hands’ capacity and willingness to engage in new opportunities;
-
Explore funding opportunities in livelihood and related sectors.
Additional duties
-
Regularly update the Livelihood Programs Director, Regional coordinator(s) and the Executive Director on work progress

Send publishable program materials to MH PR department
-
Attend managers meetings
-
Prepare all documents in a timely manner for external auditing or spot-checking

MH Executive administration may assign additional duties to the PM
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in livelihood programs;
-
Project management experience;
-
Proposal writing and budget design skills;
-
Excellent reporting skills;
-
Excellent English language skills;
-
College degree;
-
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook);
-
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
