Mercy Hands has finished the preparations to conduct a Focused Group Discussion (FGD) at Hamam Al IDP camp on GBV and domestic violence in IDP camps during COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will be implemented through Mercy Hands' initiative, Lawyers for Women Center. The participants of the FGD are a group of IDP women living in Hamam Al Alil camp. Mercy Hands has also invited NRC (camp manager and representative of CCCM Cluster), UNHCR, IMC, and the Iraqi Community Police). Part of the event is an information session during which the Iraqi Community Police will talk about its services and NRC will briefly present camp services to the group of women.
The event will take place in the first week of June.
